Dean Barlese is a spiritual leader for the Paiute community at Pyramid Lake. bHe holds many religious ceremonies and community gatherings at his property. Currently he uses the living room of his house to host such gatherings, which is a small and inefficient space, as one can see in the photo below.

The Native Solidarity Project, in collaboration with the Temple Guardians, hopes to build a proper ceremony house for Dean and the Paiute community, to serve as the spiritual and communal gathering space for the Pyramid Lake and wider area.

Thank you for nurturing the spiritual legacy of the Northern Paiute community by aiding an elder, creating sacred space, and spreading awareness.
