We are looking for volunteers to join Native Solidarity Project’s “Food is Love” team, which is cooking (un)Thanksgiving dinner for about a dozen visiting Paiutes from Pyramid Lake who are coming to San Francisco for the Alcatraz Island Sunrise Ceremony next week. They will be staying at the Waller Center for 4 days starting on Wednesday, which has a full commercial kitchen where our team will cook up the donated produce we have secured. We’ve decided to take advantage of the large facilities and are inviting the community to join us.
